PAYMENTS & SECURITY
Know what you pay. Keep card details protected.
This page explains the payment experience CardQuay is preparing and the safeguards that will apply when integrated checkout launches.
1. Currency and transaction total
All marketplace prices and future checkout charges are in Australian dollars (AUD). Before a buyer commits to payment, checkout will display the card, seller, item price, shipping, platform or processing fees, applicable taxes and the final total. No undisclosed charge may be added afterwards.
2. Stripe marketplace payments
CardQuay is preparing Stripe Connect for marketplace payments. Eligible sellers may be required to create or connect a Stripe account and complete identity, business and bank-account verification. The checkout and transaction terms will identify the merchant of record and explain how funds, fees, refunds, disputes and negative balances are allocated.
3. Payment information
When checkout is activated, payment credentials will be entered into Stripe-hosted or Stripe-provided payment components. CardQuay will not store complete payment-card numbers or card security codes. Stripe may process personal and transaction information under its own terms and privacy notice.
4. Accepted payment methods
The payment methods actually available will be shown inside checkout when payment collection launches. CardQuay will not display card-network or wallet logos as accepted methods until those methods are enabled for the relevant transaction.
5. Refunds and disputes
Approved refunds will normally return to the original payment method and may take additional bank processing time. Read our Returns & Refunds Policy and Dispute Process before purchasing.
6. Off-platform payment warning
Until integrated checkout is live, any external payment arrangement is outside CardQuay's payment protection and cannot be reversed by CardQuay. Never send complete card details, passwords or one-time verification codes through marketplace messages or email.
7. Security and reporting
We use account controls and secure connections designed to protect the service. No system is risk-free. Report suspicious payment requests or account activity to wangliyuan020418@gmail.com.
