PROHIBITED ITEMS

Protecting the integrity of every listing.

CardQuay is for lawful, accurately represented collectible trading cards. The following items and practices are not permitted.

AUSTRALIAPLAIN LANGUAGEUPDATED 11 AUGUST 2026
Counterfeit concerns

Do not list a card if you cannot reasonably support its authenticity or right to sell it. “Proxy”, “replica”, “custom” or similar wording does not make a counterfeit item acceptable.

1. Counterfeit and unauthorised cards

Counterfeits, replicas intended to imitate genuine cards, forged autographs, altered certification labels, fake slabs, rebacked cards and unauthorised reproductions are prohibited. Clearly original art may only be listed if CardQuay creates a separate eligible category and it does not misuse another party's rights.

2. Stolen or unlawfully held property

You may not list stolen cards, cards you do not own, property subject to an undisclosed lien or security interest, or cards obtained through fraud, chargeback abuse or an unresolved ownership dispute.

3. Misrepresented cards

Listings must not conceal trimming, recolouring, restoration, damage, case tampering, qualification labels, missing serial numbers or other material facts. Do not use another card's grading certification, images or sales history.

4. Items outside the marketplace

Unless CardQuay expressly creates an eligible category, do not list sealed mystery products, repacks, break spots, gambling entries, raffle tickets, digital tokens, cryptocurrency, financial products, weapons, drugs, adult material, personal data or unrelated goods and services.

5. Unlawful, sanctioned or restricted transactions

Items and transactions prohibited by Australian law, sanctions, court order, intellectual-property law, export controls or payment-provider rules are not permitted. CardQuay's initial service is Australia only and listings must not be used to arrange an undisclosed international export.

6. Manipulative listing practices

Fake scarcity, false “sold” prices, shill purchases, duplicate listings intended to mislead, keyword spam, impersonation, undisclosed bait pricing and attempts to avoid a platform restriction are prohibited.

7. Reporting and removal

Use the report option on a listing or email support with the listing link and supporting evidence. CardQuay may temporarily hide the item, request proof, preserve records and notify grading companies, payment providers or authorities where appropriate. Removal does not prevent further account action.
