SHIPPING POLICY

Clear expectations from seller to collector.

These standards apply to cards sold or traded through CardQuay within Australia.

AUSTRALIAPLAIN LANGUAGEUPDATED 11 AUGUST 2026
Australia-only launch

CardQuay initially supports Australian users and Australian delivery addresses only. International shipping is not supported unless CardQuay later announces it in writing.

1. Who ships the card

The seller—not CardQuay—packs and dispatches the card to the address confirmed for the order. For a trade, each participant is responsible for sending their side of the exchange. CardQuay does not currently operate a warehouse or take possession of cards.

2. Dispatch time

Sellers must dispatch within three business days after payment or the final trade confirmation, unless the listing clearly states a different handling time accepted by the buyer. Weekends and public holidays in the seller's state are not business days.

3. Tracking

Tracked shipping is strongly recommended for every order and is required where the total card value is A$100 or more. Sellers must enter or send valid tracking promptly after dispatch and retain the lodgement receipt. Splitting an order does not avoid this requirement.

4. Packaging

Sellers must use packaging suitable for the card and its value. At minimum, cards should be protected against bending, moisture and movement. Graded slabs should be cushioned and prevented from contacting hard edges. Packaging must not disclose unnecessary personal or valuable-item information.

5. Shipping charges

Any shipping, insurance or handling charge must be shown before the buyer commits to pay. Sellers must not add undisclosed charges afterwards. CardQuay may establish standard shipping options when integrated checkout launches.

6. Delivery address

Buyers must provide a complete and accurate Australian address. Sellers must use the address supplied through the confirmed order process, not an address sent later through an unverified message. If a buyer requests a change before dispatch, the seller should pause and contact CardQuay support.

7. Delayed, lost or damaged parcels

Users should first check the carrier's tracking and allow for published delivery windows. The sender is responsible for lodging a carrier enquiry. A buyer should report a parcel that appears lost, damaged or materially delayed as soon as practicable through the Dispute Process. CardQuay may request tracking, packaging images, receipts and photographs of the delivered parcel.

8. In-person collection

In-person collection is only permitted when both parties freely agree. Meet in a safe public location, inspect the card before completing the handover and keep a written record. CardQuay does not supervise in-person meetings and users should not share more personal information than necessary.

9. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Business sellers remain responsible for their legal delivery and remedy obligations.
